As we move from September to October, we still have plenty of time for some great fall golf. You can still get in a quick nine holes if you tee off by 4 p.m. in early October.
While we worry about October storms, there is a different storm on the horizon. If the House and Senate and the President cannot come to some sort of mutual agreement on the funding of the Government by midnight on September 30th, the Government will shut down in some areas. One of those affected will be the 365+ National Parks and the concession within those Parks. This includes the operation of Highland Links. If there is a Government shut down, the Cape Cod National Seashore will close as well as Highland Links. It would remain closed until a solution is found. Just be aware of this. We are all hoping for the best, but we will have to follow the guidelines set by the Department of Interior and the Cape Cod National Seashore.
Weekdays will be pretty quiet in October, so that is the best time to play. Please remember weekends are the busiest, especially Columbus Day Weekend; so make your tee time reservation seven days in advance so you don't get caught and have to rake leaves instead. Call 508-430-0963 seven days in advance to make your tee time.
The snack bar grill will close September 30th, but cold sandwiches and hot dogs will be available as well as snacks and beverages.
Rates remain $35 for nine holes and $60 for eighteen holes. Please remember to ask for the senior rate if you are 59 or older. This will give you a 10% discount on green fees and power carts. Also check out our fully stocked Pro Shop and take advantage of our 30% discount on all shirts and tops. Also, there is a sale on shoes and golf bags at 20% off.
Enjoy an historic round of golf at Highland Links while the Indian Summer weather hovers over Cape Cod and the Islands.
