News

The Truro Library is now on Facebook.  If you like us, then please “like” us.

Carmen Cicero’s artworks will be on display in the Anne H. Brock Community Room from July 10th until the end of the month.

The Library offers 24/7 WiFi access that can be enjoyed from the back deck or from one of the seating areas around the building.

Friends of the Truro Library are putting their efforts behind a truly creative fund-raising idea, Give a book an Alter Ego!  Here's how it works:  Pick a book or two from our collection of interesting discards (or get one from the Swap Shack or use one of your own,) put on your creative cap, and turn your book (or books) into a child of your imagination.  Paint it, cut it, sculpt it, embellish it, singe it, bead it, glue it, stamp it; and then donate it to the Friends of the Library.  Bring your finished creation to the Library by Wednesday, July 17th, and they will be available for bidding.  Proceeds will fund Library activities for children and adults throughout the year.

If you are desperate for a book and you know that the Library is closed, we have something for you.  We have a re-purposed bird-feeder in front of the Library that Friends of the Truro Library will keep stocked with a small selection of books.  Help yourself, read it, and pass it on.
