Rug Raffle
On display at the Library this summer is a gorgeous needlepoint rug made by Truro resident B.J. Allen. Her family generously donated the rug, which will be raffled off to benefit to the Library she loved. Tickets are $5.00 each, or 5 tickets for $20.00, and can be purchased at the Library. The winner will be announced during Truro Treasures Weekend.
Children’s Garden
Please stop by the Library and take a look at the Mary Hutchings Children’s Garden. This collaboration between the Truro Public Library, the Truro Recreation Program, and the Truro Ag Fair continues to bear fruit (and veggies.) It recently expanded to include a pumpkin patch. Read inside about how the Children’s Garden inspired educational therapist Rebecca Burrill to create dance workshops.
