Flying Santa

Following an 82 year tradition, Santa arrived on schedule at the Cape Cod Highland Light on December 10th.

Edward Snow is responsible ensuring that the children of lighthouse keepers received presents from old St. Nick. By 1929 he had abandoned his tired reindeer for a piper cub cadet, but more recently he has come via helicopter.

Thanks to a grant from Truro Treasures, the Highland Lighthouse and the Truro Recreation Department which hosted this event for Truro children.

It was hard to tell who enjoyed it more, the adults or the kids!
