Highland LinksThe Links continues to receive raves as we move into August. The July heat has not affected the beauty of the course, and it is still in great shape.
After the first round of the Ladies' Club Championship, Isabel Peres leads with an 84; and Nina Harrison leads the Senior Division with an 89. The final round is on Thursday, August 2nd. We wish all competitors good luck in that final found.
The Annual Elmer Silva Memorial Tournament is on Friday, August 3rd. It is a Noon Shot-gun start with a full field. There are 9-Hole-only tee times on that morning from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., and the course will reopen around 5 p.m. after the tourney ends.
The final leg of the summer season is upon us, so please remember to make your tee time seven days in advance to avoid getting shut out in prime time. Call 508-487-9201 to reserve your tee time. Enjoy the beauty and challenge that only Highland Links can give you.
The Links had a visitor who was kind enough to play his bagpipes on the course. It added more to the Links' historical and mystical venue.
