25th Anniversary Gala and Fundraising Celebration
The 25th Anniversary Gala and Fundraising Celebration will be held on August 22nd at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sebastian Junger will be our special guest and speaker. Attached is a blurb about the event, and the summer raffle re are holding as well to raise funds for National Seashore projects. Gala tickets cost $50 per person; raffle chances are one for $10, three for $25. Feel free to edit down the description to fit your space requirements.
Free Summer Concert - an Evening of Celtic Music
Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore is pleased to present a free concert by Billy & Beth, the dynamic fiddle and instrumental Irish duo, for an evening of Celtic music with songs in Irish Gaelic and English. Because of the immense popularity of this group, Friends decided to hold one of its summer concerts at the Truro Meetinghouse for the first time, to accommodate more people and to bring a Friends concert to Truro. As always for Friends events, admission is free.
The concert will take place in Truro at the Truro Congregational Meeting House on Friday, August 24, 7 p.m. The concert by Billy Hardy and Beth Sweeney is part of the Friends free summer concert series.
