“GOOD THINGS HAPPEN"

YOU PROVIDE THE IMAGINATION AND THE IDEAS
WE SUPPLY THE MONEY....
AND
" GOOD THINGS HAPPEN "

An example of how this has worked very successfully can be found in the story of Kenneth Hawkey, a Truro artist who was given grants by the Cultural Council for two separate projects. Using his ideas, imagination, and talent resulted in oral and visual presentations that were very well received by the Truro community since they touched people historically, nostalgically, and artistically and were also personally rewarding for Kenneth.

Below is an example of Kenneth's work from his most recent project, supported by a grant from the Truro Cultural Council. The exhibit, called "Heritage Preserved," was presented at the Truro Public Library in September 2011.

With this story in mind, we invite all Truro artists to apply for grants on projects they'd love to pursue so we can achieve our goal of helping to make good things happen.

  1. You supply the ideas by October 15th.
  2. We supply the grant money.

THE TRURO CULTURAL COUNCIL
through the Massachusetts Cultural Council invites all Truro artists and Truro non-profit organizations to be part of our 2012 program.
