THE SEVENTH ANNUAL PROVINCETOWN DANCE FESTIVAL

Following the last five years of packed houses and sold-out performances, the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill is proud to present the Seventh Annual Provincetown Dance Festival at the Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford Street on Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22 at 7:30pm.

Since 2005, the Provincetown Dance Festival has provided the Cape’s only annual dance event.  The festival’s goal is to reveal, celebrate, and share the world of dance through live performances.  The intimate setting of the Provincetown Theater offers an opportunity to experience this invigorating art form up close; also the audience is invited to meet the festival dancers and choreographers at receptions held in the lobby after each performance. There is no other comparable experience offered for visitors and residents to the Outer Cape.  This year’s festival, a co-production of Castle Hill and the Adam Miller Dance Project, consists of two full-scale evening performances and post-performance “meet the artists” events.  Some favorites from previous festivals return with new pieces, and performers who have never before performed on the Outer Cape make their festival debuts.
