CALLING ALL TRURO BIZ OWNERS!!
TNRTA Announces Launch of ANNUAL TRURO BIZ DIRECTORY
As we have discussed with the Selectmen in recent months, TNRTA wants to inform Town residents and visitors of the great businesses and services available in Truro by producing an annual business directory. We plan to launch the first free online and down-loadable version around Memorial Day and to produce print versions thereafter. These hard copies will be made available in public places such as the Town Library, Community Center and more, and will be provided to local realtors as a way to encourage property purchase and rental in Town.
We have gathered many business names already, and want to make sure we do not miss any! We are hoping to include trades, crafts, accommodations, recreation and events, professionals, shops and stores, galleries, restaurants, cafes, caterers, vineyards, farms, nurseries, florists, health and fitness, wholesalers and retailers, and more -- in effect any and all business operations in Truro that provide goods or services to customers and clients.
IF YOU OWN OR OPERATE A BUSINESS IN TRURO and want to be LISTED in this FREE DIRECTORY, please send an email to tnrta@tnrta.org by MAY 15, 2011 and include:
- Your company's public name (what customers would know you as)
- Contact info -- Address/phone/fax/email and website address (if you have one)
- Nature of your business - if it is not obvious from your company name, give a few words on the type of services or goods you provide
- Logo - Add a logo if you wish as a jpeg or tiff, and we will include it to the best of our ability!
The first version will be an experiment, and we hope over the years to improve it with your help. But the current economy has made it more timely and urgent to get on with this first effort and build from there.
With our best wishes,
Regan McCarthy, President
PS We will update the ONLINE version, if you want to respond later, but we would like to start with as complete a list as possible now so you can benefit from the 2011 peak season.
