Recent Hire Mark Sklut
This time of year is busy – very busy. As you know, we are shorthanded, but have recently hired Mark Sklut to attend the Police Academy which starts mid-July. You will all see him after graduation in December. We currently have a Sergeant's opening and a Patrol opening.
Kyle Takakjian Promotion
The Board of Selectmen recently appointed Sergeant Kyle Takakjian to the position of Lieutenant, pending negotiations. We wish him well and hope you will attend his swearing in ceremony.
Open House
We are planning an open house for Truro Treasures Weekend with scheduled events held here at the Public Safety Facility. A BBQ is also planned. We hope you can make it.
The school zone lights are now dark for the summer - There are many walkers and bikers on every road, including Route 6. Please drive safety.
We all would like to thank our intern Simone Rose, who finished her last day with us as our first and no doubt best intern we have ever had. Have a great summer Simone!
