The Friends are having a yard sale on Sunday, July 17 at the library. It's a fund raiser to support the many library programs for all ages that the Friends underwrite throughout the year. The Truro Library Book Group meets the last Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Wed., July 12 thru Aug. 9,  3:30 p.m.  Teen Writers Group: Author Heidi Jon Schmidt will lead a series of creative writing workshops for ages 12-18 beginning with creative writing exercises then building stories from them. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Truro Cultural Council, which is a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Tues., July 26, 10:00: CCNS Family Interpreter Jon Way will present Horseshoe Crabs “Horsing Around”. Learn about its unusual shapes and body parts. Watch a video and make your own horseshoe crab model.

Wed., July 27, 6:30 p.m.: Cape Cod African Dance & Drum: Come dance & beat some drums in a joyful circle of life. All are welcome.

Wed., Aug. 3, 6:30 p.m.: Quirky Circus: Ellen Anthony uses recycled objects to create unique puppets to tell their own stories. All are welcome.
