Truro Cultural Council THE COUNCIL'S AWARDS FOR 2011
Over the past several years the Truro Cultural Council has focused its attention on finding important and interesting programs and projects to help fund, that work hard to make a difference right here in Truro.
Based on the presentations given by this year's 11 grantees, it's clear
that the Council has achieved its primary goal for 2011.
Our grants for 2011 include programs ranging from pure art projects to ones that are for Truro children, to one that feature a visual historical retrospective of Truro buildings and homes.
The Council also funded grants in 2011 for programs using art and music to help Alzheimer's patients, to another that will help Truro high school students pursue creative writing ideas.
