New Ambulance

We are pleased to announce that we have put into service our new Ambulance 487. A 2009, Class I, Type III ambulance, on a 2009 Chevrolet, C-4500 chassis.
We appreciate the support from the taxpayers who made this purchase possible and invite everyone to come see their ambulance at the fire station. |

Fire Prevention Week

October 3-9 is Fire Prevention Week. This year's theme is "Smoke Alarms, a Sound You Can Live With". Truro Fire Rescue reminds you to check all your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to make sure they are working properly and they have fresh batteries.
It is also a good time to identify and correct any other hazards you may have in your home as well as create and practice a home escape plan. You may contact the fire department with any questions you may have. |
