Cape Cod National Seashore is offering some bird walks in Truro in October.
Cape Cod is host to many different species of migratory birds during the fall season. Join a National Seashore naturalist for a bird walk at Pilgrim Heights or High Head to seek out these birds, while enjoying the surrounding dune and heathland landscapes.
1-1/2 hours, 1/2 to 1 mile. Free.
Bring binoculars if you have them.
- Fridays, 3 PM through October.
Meet at the shelter at Pilgrim Heights.
- Saturdays, 2 PM, October 9, 16, 23, and 30.
Meet at the bike trail parking lot at the end of High Head Road.
