Recycling and Cost Reduction
It's been another busy summer at the transfer station. The increase in recycling shows our residents are serious about reducing the amount of trash we are throwing out.
We would like to thank the residents and the visitors to our town for their cooperation in ensuring everything is put in the proper place.
This both helps the environment and reduces the cost of the transfer station operations to the town. And that helps our tax rate.
Swap Shop Volunteers
We would also like to thank the volunteers for keeping the swap shop neat and orderly. It's one of the reasons our swap shop is so popular.
Wood Chips
A reminder to those residents who need wood chips for landscaping: we have them here. Just take what you need.
Off Season
The off season is upon us and we'll see our hardy year-rounders at the transfer station and wish our summer residents well and look forward to seeing them next year. And of course we are always happy to see our K-9 friends.
