Missing Dog
"Claude Monet", a 10 year old Golden Retriever, Male, has been missing since he took off from a motor vehicle accident in which him and his owner were involved in on Route 6 by the Truro Transfer Station on October 10, 2010 at approximately 5:00 p.m.
He is most likely very scared and any injuries are unknown other than he has arthritis. He was wearing a red collar with Plymouth tags when he went missing but it is unknown if he still has them on at this time. Deer hunting with bow and arrow started October 18, 2010, so hopefully more eyes will be in the woods but I would like to caution the hunters to be aware that this dog might possibly still be out there.
He was last sighted on South Pamet Road on October 14, 2010 at approximately 8:30 a.m. and again in the Ballston Beach Area approximately 2 hours later. He could be just about anywhere since he has not shown signs of any certain pattern. He also does not seem to be staying in one general area since, after all, he is not familiar with the area.
Please contact Animal Control Officer Lorial Russell at 508-246-5225 or 508-487-8730 with any sightings and/or if you are able to catch him anytime day or night.
